Easter traditionally signals the season’s kick off in the UK and although it was early this year there was no shortage of families milling about beaches, all looking for some coastal fun. As air temperatures continue to rise more people will emerge from their winter of hibernation and make a beeline for sand and sea.
It’s one thing having mum and dad rubbered up for dips in the ocean but what about cheeky sprogs? Even in the UK – especially during summer months – harmful UV can damage young skin and while waters may feel warm to adults that certainly won’t be the case for children.
And then of course there’s holibobs. Jetting off somewhere warm and sunny is tantalising for most, especially if UK weather hasn’t been playing ball. But as with soaring mercury levels in Blighty warmer weather will cause issue for offspring overseas.
Yet fear not! NCW is to the rescue.
