It’s common knowledge that stand up paddle boarding has seen an unprecedented second growth spurt born of COVID fallout. What hasn’t been as widely publicised is the fact accessory and apparently companies, such as NCW who provide the gear to do sports like SUP, have also been enjoying high rates of sales.
We’re not going to lie: we’re knackered! But this isn’t a complaint – bring it on… The more of you we can get in the sea the better. And if that’s wearing North Coast Wetsuit kit then happy days.
With more locations opening up this weekend (July 4, 2020) it’s accurate to say you’ll be needing adequate protection from the elements. Thermometer readings aren’t quite as high as they were a few weeks back but it’s still warm with the sea temperature having risen also. There’s more than enough reason to get wet!
So what do NCW have in stock currently that’ll see you enjoying your water time? (It should be noted that you don’t always need a full on winter wetsuit to stay warm in the sea during high season in the UK).
NCW’s ever popular sea strides/neoprene leggings are available. These are great for anyone stand up paddling, sit on top kayaking or combining with a thick rashvest, such as our long and short john, thermal lined types. In fact, both these items can be as good as wearing a wetsuit when paired up. And this clobber’s also great if you simply fancy a swim or splashing about with the kids.
