Ever the proactive type NCW team rider Subowti (aka Dave Ludgate) continues his crusade against the rubbish found in and around his local launches. We hardly need go on about the tide of plastic debris (and other crud) that ends up in seas and waterways around the world. So every little helps. Dave’s positive approach, and use of his brine vehicle (a stand up paddle board) to sweep round patches of Cork sea and collect rubbish as he goes, is a real thumbs up. He also organises beach cleans, as he did recently with a decent turn out of helpers ready to roll their sleeves up.
We doff our cap every time to Dave and salute the fact he’s such a role model for keeping our beaches and Irish seas clean and as free from rubbish as possible. Plus, everyone else who helped out and does their bit also a massive big up. Keep on keeping on…
