We bang on about wetsuit layering often so to not break the trend we’re going to be talking about it here (again) with this post. The fact is, you can have the world’s warmest winter wetsuit at your disposal but if you’re the type of person who struggles with cold water and cool air temperatures chances are you’ll still feel the chill. To combat this it’s about layering up your under wetsuit garments to further retain heat.
Thermal, hooded rash vests, short John or long John wetsuits, Merino wool boot and glove liners, and of course, the obligatory wetsuit boots, gloves and hoods/hats will see you right during off season immersive activities.
Forget the lycra rashy (which serves no purpose in this situation) and go the proper hog with the right gear for surfing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, kitesurfing, bodyboarding, kayaking, wild swimming or whatever else you choose to target for watery born pleasure.

As it stands NCW has an abundance of wetsuit accessories such as this so it’s worth getting stocked up and sorted before Mr Frost rears his ugly head. If you need any help with choosing products, or guidance around layering for your chosen sport, then get in touch.
