Wild swimming is still happening. But with cooler water and air temperatures taking a dip is an activity for the hardy. And/or those with the right gear. Some wild swimmers stick to nothing more than their swimming cozy – even in the depths of winter. Others meanwhile choose to at least don some form of protection. Even if just a bobble hat!
Winter 2020/21 saw a whole raft of wild swimmers coming to NCW for all manner of gear to cope with cold water. One such product line that ticks a lot of boxes is NCW’s Merino Wool glove and boot liners.
Cold hands in the water ? GET MERINO WOOL WARM WETSUIT GLOVE LINERS FOR YOUR WETSUIT GLOVES
Originally designed to be worn under your wetsuit boots and gloves some wild swimmers use them as stand alone garments. Whilst they get wet the warming properties of Merino Wool keeps heat locked in.
Cold feet in the water ? GET MERINO WOOL WARM WETSUIT SOCK / BOOT LINERS FOR WETSUIT BOOTS
We have it on good authority both the glove and boot liners are game changers for wild swimmers in winter. If you suffer from hot aches then these nifty bits of kit help stave those off. Plus they can be worn away from the water to keep your tootsies and fingertips toasty.
Other watersports peeps may also apply as the Merino Wool glove and boot liners are great for all watery activities. If you have any questions about these or other NCW products then get in touch via the usual channels.
