NCW bags are versatile bits of kit. One person’s wants/needs may differ from another but there’s no question about each application. NCW nags fit the bill – wet or dry. One scenario being a case in point is for wing foiling wings.
During a recent overseas trip our resident wingfoiling expert took a variety of kit but had to do away with peripheral things like wing bags to save space. Once at his chosen location it was only a short stroll to the beach with gear. Yet even with compact, minimal equipment lugging the stuff can be a chore if you don’t use your noddle.
Enter the NCW 30L roll top dry rucksack. Used on this trip predominantly for carrying clothing the waterproof nature of the bag proved essential for alleviating the strain of carting a 5m wing and wing pump to the beach. Emptying the rucksack of dry tees and shorts it was simply a case of rolling up the 5m wing and packing it inside. The front mounted Velcro strap then secured the pump before it was onwards to the sea.
Having enjoyed his sesh the wing was repacked and transferred back to the accommodation. Turning it inside out the bag was freed of sand and dried in the sun, ready for reloading with clothing once again. As we said at the start NCW drybags are nothing if not versatile!
How would you use yours?
