It’s safe to say that NCW windsurfing team rider Dave’s pleased as punch at mo. His brand new Nautix Windsurfing freeride 6m windsurf rig arrived on home turf in Cork, Ireland. And the eco warrior’s frothing to get it wet! How do we know this? Well, check the pix.
As you can see Dave was super keen to take the Nautix Windsurfing freeride 6m windsurfing rig for its maiden voyage. So, with creative thinking out came the kiddy paddling pool and hey presto, the first dip!
Keep your eyes peeled moving forwards as our man in Ireland will be out and about on the brine proper with his new toys no doubt. There’ll be a Tahe Techno 148L windsurfing board in the mix any time now rounding out the complete everyman windsurfing set up Dave’ll be using to good ends.
Big thanks to our friends at Lyon Watersports, Nautix Windsurfing and Tahe Marine who helped get Dave (literally) onboard with his new kit. Check out more product info via the links below.

Want to read our fair returns policy first?Tahe Techno 148L ACE-TEC freeride windsurfing board.
We know this board well, as do many other long standing windsurfers. The name Techno is written into windsurfing history as a classic. Although Tahe’s newer range of Techno windsurfing boards are improvements on the still highly regarded old school design.
The Tahe Techno 148L windsurfing board is a great freeride sled for light to medium winds. It’s a fun, easy to use windsurf board that forgives dodgy technique if you’re still progressing. Smaller boned individuals can use this as a beginner board, that’ll then last right through to late intermediate stages, whilst heavier sailors will enjoy a spot of blasting when the breeze picks up. It’s also not too shabby should a few small lumps materialize, being able to jump and pop admirably.
Tahe’s ACE-TEC construction ensures the Techno 148L is bomb proof but without sacrificing performance. If you’re looking for a fun freeride board, that’s more diverse than you’d imagine, then look no further. Check out the Tahe Techno 148L’s full spec below.
