With SUP safety being an ever growing concern, due to the surge in popularity of stand up paddle boarding, having the correct gear is imperative. Pand Boardsports’ quick release SUP safety belt is the easiest and safest way to stay leashed to your SUP board.

Having a leash is important but having the right leash is more so! The wrong type in the wrong environment can be as lethal as not having one at all. Being able to attach a coiled SUP leash to the Panda Boardsports quick release SUP safety belt means no snagged leashes on debris that can pull riders off their boards and under the water. Also, should the need arise then simply pull the release toggle to detach yourself from your stand up paddle board kit. A 50mm waist belt attachment for raises your leash out of the water and away from any potential drag risks. This belt fits snuggly and comfortably around your waist and the cuff from your existing leash simply fits through the loop at the back of the belt. It features a hard wearing quick release clip with pull toggle at the front for emergency release should you need it. Stitched with saltwater resistant bonded 40 industrial nylon thread for peace of mind.

The Panda Boardsports quick release SUP safety belt is available in 3 variations.

The Junior has a 38mm width in the belt and has a premium nexus buckle, and Hi visibility stripping. These are best suited to those with a smaller frame, small adults and teenagers.This will fit max 34″ waist lines.
The standard has a slightly broader belt strap at 50mm. It also has the premium Nexus buckle and is the best selling model, fitting most adults and older teenagers. These are the ones that most SUP schools and SUP clubs buy.
The Hi-Viz, as you might expect, has an extra Hi Vis strip along the length of the belt. Its width is still 50mm, same as the standard, and also has a premium NEXUS buckle.’
