What about wetsuits for surfing and watersports?
Wetsuits – or rather, getting hold of a quality, well manufactured, fit for purpose wetsuit – is as important as choosing the right surfboard. If you’re not adequately protected in the brine (particularly in the UK) then your surfing and watersports experience with be all the poorer.

Using surfing equipment and then using the RIGHT equipment.
We’ve seen this firsthand. A rider using particular kit that does work – to a degree. They catch waves (every so often) and do possess the skills to ride said wave. But the experience is more frustrating than it needs to be.
Having been passed equipment that’s better suited to the rider’s skill and conditions they suddenly begin enjoying a more fulfilling session. Everything is all at one smiles and grins. Fun is elevated and that familiar surfing feeling of stoke sets in. You can see the revelation on the rider in question’s face.
‘Why didn’t I try something like this sooner?’ (Or words to that effect is usually the response).
Summing up why it’s important to use the right surfing equipment.

But sift through the quagmire of duff chat and you’ll discover what actually works for you. And when that lightbulb moment occurs there’ll be no turning back.
