Make your carving looser or harden everything up. They’re also the best choice if you’re a skater who wants more stability through moves. Especially aerial-type manoeuvres or riders who dabble with hybrid skating, which is a mix of surf skate and traditional skating.
The CX is Carver’s updated surf skate truck, with less moving parts than the C7 creating a simpler, lighter truck. Properly able to handle being chucked around the streets and the skatepark, build up a little more speed and yet turn on a dime.

The CX truck is a single-axis truck with a precision pivot pin which allows for very snappy turns, like riding a thruster surfboard, and replicating the quick response you feel as you pump for speed. The single axis permits one axis of adjustment before a different shape or hardness of bushing is needed. This article talks about wheel durometers (hardness). Which is the same for bushings.
They’re the same weight as a standard truck, but the simpler, lighter truck design is better for airs, skate parks and transition. Although you can happily ride Carver CX trucks in street mode too.
